Activity Overview

Step into Scotland’s first vertical whisky distillery - The Port of Leith Distillery, rising nine floors above historic Leith’s waterfront.

In this experience, you’ll climb through each production stage—from mill to mash to stills—guided by knowledgeable local hosts who bring the distillery’s origin story to life. Then, immerse yourself in hands-on fun: fill and label your very own miniature bottle of their fresh “New Make” spirit. Settle into the QC Lab for a curated tasting of five samples, exploring new make whisky, sherry, port, and their Table Whisky.

After touring the innovative architecture and production levels, head up to the stunning double-height bar on the 8th and 9th floors to enjoy panoramic views of the Firth of Forth. This experience is perfect for whisky lovers curious about modern craft and bold design in Edinburgh.
