Booked this tour online. Arrived at the bus stop with our and exchanged our confirmation email for tickets. We were then able to use the tickets over a 2 day period. Apart from the bus tour of the city we also had a cruise on the Danube and an evening tour included in the ticket price. Absolutely fabulous value for money. The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. Would definitely use this service again and highly recommend it.
Buses are every 15mins or so, covers a large route, includes a night cruise down the river & the best bit is you can get on or off wherever you want. The city is easily accessible on foot but for the price of the buses it’s definately recommended for getting from a to b & the headphones on board to listen to the city history is fab - just enough info & the tour guides are super friendly & helpful
An excellent way to see all the sights of Budapest with clear and informative audio commentary. The River Boat tour which was included in the cost was worth doing, and from what I could see the boat used by this company was the best one on the dock! Just a slight hiccup when we got off the bus to visit the Museum of Terror and discovered it was closed for 4 days for refurbishment (thought the commentary could have been updated to reflect this / or staff could have pointed this out) but we made our way onwards to pick up the next bus and the staff at that stop were so helpful - sent us into a nearby coffee shop to wait for the next bus and even came to retrieve us when the bus came. All staff very clued up with local knowlege, and the walking tour guide in Buda was a font of knowledge. Would def recommend this tour.

And, with an upgrade, you can add on a Budapest at Night Tour or a leisurely cruise down the Danube during your Budapest vacation. It’s what to do in Budapest for a memorable experience!
May to early October is the best time to visit Budapest. It is the shoulder season with pleasant weather and fewer tourists. The sun is out and not too harsh which makes it great for exploring the city in an open deck bus. If you are visiting to attend popular festivals in Budapest, then July and August will be your best bet.
You will receive the bus tour vouchers on your smartphone. Since it is an E-voucher, you can show it at the time of arrival.
There are several ticket options available to you, depending on your length of stay. Each bus tour will have validity from 24, 36, 48 to 72 hours. And the great thing is you can plan ahead as the vouchers are valid anywhere between 6 months to 1 year and can be used at any point during that period. Check the product page or bus tour operator for complete details.
