Getting onto the bus in the morning with a weather forecast of rain, rain and more rain I was unsure I was making the right choice to continue going to the cliffs but I am so glad I did. The driver-guide was wonderful, I learnt so much about this beautiful corner of Ireland. I would recommend this tour to everyone - rain or no rain. A wonderful winter day out
The guide Joseph was absolutely amazing, definitely one of the best guides I’ve ever had, hands down. He was like a walking history book. Throughout the drive, I learned so much about the history of Ireland and the history behind the places we were visiting. He sang some Irish songs and played a variety of music on the journey. I learned a lot from him and he was also hilarious and entertaining. It was raining on the drive to the Cliffs of Moher but luckily beautiful blue skies turned up by the time we got there. We had plenty of time there, enough to take in the beauty and walk along the cliffs. Be prepared for some strong winds! Our guide was also very good about giving us enough stops and enough time to stretch our legs and get some snacks throughout the journey. We stopped at some other beautiful places throughout the day.
Ticket lasts for 48 hrs which was excellent value . The guide was clearly knowledgeable and the commentary was light hearted and friendly. Goes to all the sights and there is a bus every 10-15 minutes . Thoroughly recommend. Great also if you are visiting the zoo as it stops very close to the entrance
