City Sightseeing's Hanoi city bus tour runs daily from 09:15 AM to 05:15 PM, every 30 minutes, and a full loop takes about an hour, depending on some external factors like traffic and weather conditions. Tickets last 1 or 2 days and include an audio guide in eight languages and free Wi-Fi. The first stop is Frog Flower Garden and it’s worth hopping off at Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, Tran Quoc Pagoda, Hoa Lo Prison, Hanoi Opera House and more, in addition to some must-see landmarks.

The loop also stops at the Hanoi Post Office, the Military History Museum, Quan Thanh Temple, St Joseph's Cathedral and the Vietnamese Women's Museum. The route changes at weekends, and the Hanoi Post Office stop isn't served on Friday afternoons, Saturdays or Sundays.

City Sightseeing's 48-hour ticket can be combined with entry to VinKE, a children's activity centre, and the Vinpearl Aquarium at Times City. Times City isn't on the bus route.

Anh Viet runs an open-top bus in Hanoi from Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, at the north end of Hoan Kiem Lake, on weekdays, and from the Hanoi Opera House at weekends.
