Very nice tour. We enjoyed it very much. A tip for the organizers: you could skip French guidance when everyone on the bus clearly speaks English. You could e.g. use different wrist bands to distinguish between preferred language so the guide doesn't even have to ask all the time. ?? I didn't mind hearing language I don't understand but it is definitely something that requires a bit of extra brain power to keep filtering out what is not useful for me.
Great tour!
Covered a lot of ground!
Be sure to wear a sun hat if you are on the top level on a sunny day.
The capital city of Canada, Ottawa is the fourth-largest metropolitan and political center of Canada. It was initially founded as Bytown in 1826. The climate of the city remains cold throughout the year so much so that it is the seventh coldest capital in the world. The Canadian Tulip festival is held in Ottawa every year in May which brings tourists from all over the globe.

Experience the city from all avenues while listening to informative audio commentary about its history. Visit Parliament Hill, the Canadian Museum of Civilization, Rideau Hall, and more. Wander through Byward Market, explore RCMP Stables, or see the oldest church in Ottawa: Notre Dame Basilica. March to May is the best time to plan a visit to Ottawa. It is the onset of spring in the city and events like the Tulip Festival also take place during this time. July is the hottest in Ottawa, so you should avoid that.
We recommend 3 to 5 days to explore Ottawa and cover the city’s major attractions at a comfortable pace.
