You will be picked up at 09:45am and taken to the tour destinations in an air conditioned Mercedes minibus accompanied by a guide.
See the world famous Scott’s View and admire the spectacular panoramic vistas over the Tweed Valley and the Eildon Hills. Also visit the original Wallace Monument, a prominent Victorian tower which stands above the river on a rocky crag and catches the eye for miles around.
Travel to Melrose and explore its great Border Abbey, founded by the Cistercians in the 12th century. The abbey is the burial place of Robert the Bruce's heart, brought back from the crusades in Moorish Spain.
Stop in Melrose where you can have an optional lunch or time at leisure to explore.
In the afternoon make your way to the stunning 15th century Rosslyn Chapel, immortalised in Dan Brown’s “Da Vinci Code”. You can find out more about the myths and legends surrounding the whereabouts of the “Holy Grail”.
The tour ends at Waverley Bridge, Edinburgh. You will reach Edinburgh at around 4:00pm.
Travel light: You are only allowed to carry 14 kgs of luggage on this tour. A carry-on bag plus a small bag is preferable as advised by the local authorities.
