Itinerary

Day 1:

You will be picked up at 09:00am and taken to the tour destinations in an air conditioned Mercedes minibus.

Traveling north past Stirling Castle, you reach the stunning Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. As you journey through the awe-inspiring mountains of the West Highlands, you arrive at the charming, whitewashed 18th-century town of Inveraray, the historic home of the Campbell Clan and the Duke of Argyll. Spend the afternoon exploring the heart of Argyll before heading to the lively town of Oban, where you'll stay for the next two nights.

Day 2:

Today begins with an early start as you catch a ferry to Mull, offering a chance to explore its dramatic coastlines and wild beauty. Afterward, you'll take a small ferry to Iona, renowned as the birthplace of Celtic Christianity and the ancient burial ground of Scottish kings. On Iona, you can visit the historic abbey, which features intricately carved crosses in its churchyard, or take the time to explore the island’s rocky headlands and sandy coves.

For those seeking an extra adventure, there’s an opportunity to take a small boat for an optional trip to the island of Staffa, where you can view the dramatic basalt columns that inspired Mendelssohn's Hebridean Overture "Fingal's Cave".

After a day filled with exploration, you will return to Oban by ferry for your second night, ready to relax and reflect on the day's discoveries.

Day 3:

You journey north along the west coast, passing through the picturesque region of Appin and the impregnable Castle Stalker. Your next stop is the breathtaking Glencoe, one of Scotland's most famous natural landmarks, renowned for its steep slopes and photogenic peaks. Here, your driver-guide may share the tragic tale that has haunted this valley for over 300 years.

Continuing your adventure, you travel through Fort William and under the shadow of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the British Isles, standing at 1,344 meters. The journey then takes you through the Great Glen, a natural fault in the earth’s crust that runs through Scotland.

From the Great Glen, you travel to the charming fishing village of Plockton or Balmacara, where you'll be dropped off at your accommodation in the early evening, ready to unwind after a day of stunning scenery and rich history.
Day 4:

Today offers a very flexible schedule on Skye, with a variety of possibilities depending on the weather. Your driver-guide will use their local knowledge to craft the best day out for the group.

You might ascend the Quiraing along the Trotternish Ridge, where you'll be rewarded with spectacular views. Alternatively, you could soak in the stunning scenery at Loch Coruisk or drive through the dramatic Red Cuillin to the quaint hamlet of Elgol.

In the late afternoon, you'll be returned to your accommodation in Plockton or Balmacara. The evening is free for you to explore the village at your leisure.
Day 5:

You'll be picked up from your accommodation for a short drive to the famous stronghold of Eilean Donan Castle.

After exploring the castle, you’ll travel east, enjoying the stunning views over Loch Duich and the Five Sisters of Kintail. Continuing on, you reach Loch Ness, where you can have lunch and perhaps even spot the legendary 'Nessie.'

Your tour then moves through the Grampian Mountains, along Loch Laggan, and past Dalwhinnie, home to Scotland's highest whisky distillery.

In Perthshire, you'll stop for refreshments before heading back to Edinburgh, passing through Perth and crossing over the Firth of Forth.

You will reach Edinburgh at around 7:00pm. The drop off point of the tour is Edinburgh Bus Station Drop Off, George St / St. Andrews Square area, (Within 5 mins of Edinburgh Bus Station), Edinburgh.
