Itinerary

You will be picked up from your hotel and taken for this private sightseeing tour in air conditioned vehicle, as per your convenience. Your driver is your multilingual guide (English & German) for this tour.

Drive through The Lake District, just beyond the gates of Salzburg. Admire the natural beauty and exceptional landscape of one of Austria’s most beautiful region.

En route, see the impressive hunting Castle Fuschl, today a luxury hotel, where the Prince Archbishops spent many seasons.

In St. Wolfgang, visit the famous winged Gothic altar by Michael Pacher and make a stop at the 'White Horse Inn' for refreshments.

From St. Wolfgang, go by boat to St. Gilgen and see the house where Mozart's mother was born.

Pass Castle Hüttenstein and continue along the Mondsee.

Return to Salzburg and enjoy a one hour panoramic city tour.

The drive takes you through Mozarteum, the new part of the city. Continue to Mozart's Residence and then head for Staatsbrucke and drive through the baroque Old Town with its resplendent Dome and the festival quarter.

Pass the Nonnberg Abbey and see Castle Leopoldskron, used as the von Trapp family home in the film, 'Sound of Music' and return to Mirabell Square.

Drive back to Salzburg where you will be dropped back to your hotel.
