The excursion begins with a leisurely walk across the Piazza della Repubblica at the heart of which you will find the Fountain of the Naiads.
Further on you come to the Trevi Fountain, the central figure of this masterpiece is Neptune - god of the sea.
The next sight is the imposing Colonna of Marco Aurelio, a memorial celebrating Emperor Marcus Aurelius’s victories then move to see the Palazzo di Montecitorio, designed by Bernini.
The next stop is the Pantheon, a classic Roman temple, converted into a Christian church also see Palazzo Madama - seat of the senate.
The tour passes through the extremely lively Piazza Navona, where the main attraction is the famous Fountain of the Four Rivers.
The coach drives past the Castel Sant' Angelo, one of the earliest monuments built in Rome, dating back to the Roman period. The last stop is the Basilica of St Peter, home to one of Michelangelo’s most outstanding works, La Pieta and Bernini’s bronze canopy.
