Visit the geothermal area around the incredible spouting hot springs of Geysir and Strokkur. See the world-famous Geysir Geothermal Area in the Haukadalur Valley. The name comes from this place – Geysir which means “to gush” in Icelandic.

Continue to the beautiful waterfall Gullfoss ('Golden Waterfall'), Walks at the waterfalls edge are particularly magical, allowing you to feel the mist of the glacial water on your face. Gullfoss is a sensational sight, with many viewing platforms to experience it at different levels. We’ll stop for lunch at the excellent Gullfoss Café.
