Northern Lights Cruise:

Experience the stunning beauty of the Northern Lights on a thrilling winter cruise. Watch the surreal dance of colours across the starry sky, with the gentle lull of the ocean beneath. Reykjavik offers ideal conditions from September to April for viewing the auroras. The boat features heated indoor areas, an onboard café, and a 360° viewing platform. Enjoy expert commentary about the auroras, with photos available via email. If it gets chilly, borrow an overall, and bring a hat and gloves. Meet at the Old Harbour in downtown Reykjavik, exchange your pre-paid voucher for boarding tickets, and sail into Faxaflói Bay to chase the mystical Northern Lights, away from the city's bright lights.

Icelandic winter nights can be very cold, we recommend dressing in warm layers and sturdy shoes.

You will get some basic information from our guides on how to get the best pictures of the lights.

Northern Lights is a natural phenomenon and sightings are not guaranteed! In the event of an unsuccessful northern lights hunt, there will be no refund. However, you may join on subsequent tours until you have a successful night of seeing the northern lights.

Indicated return times can vary due to road & weather conditions.

In case you are booking for same day please make the booking at least 6 hours before the start time of the tour and reconfirm your departure details with Local operator

Children under 2 years are not allowed on this tour.

The duration of the tour is 8.5 hours. Please be aware that tours can sometimes overrun due to bad weather or other unexpected delays.

There is no food included on this tour but we do stop at Geysir visitor center where you will be able to purchase food.

Please bring: Warm, water- and windproof clothing are always useful in Iceland.
