The Perlan Museum takes you on an icy adventure and will reveal how these giant ice blocks play a vital role in nature. Then, visit the Wonders of Iceland exhibition, which includes access to a real ice cave, wrap up warm! Once you're done, head into the Aurora planetarium show, see the dance of nature's lights and look on in wonder and amazement.
And after exploring the tunnels and planetarium, where you’ll be flown around the solar system, climb to the top for stunning views of Reykjavik and the surrounding countryside. A state-of-the-art facility that showcases the force of nature. It all makes for a special day out.

Alternatively, take bus line 18 from Hlemmur to Perlan stop. From there it's a 6-minute walk
Walk: it takes 20-40 minutes to walk from downtown Reykjavík to the museum
Car: it takes 5-10 minutes from downtown Reykjavík to the museum. Free parking onsite
