Travel through the majestic scenery of the Highlands to the dark and brooding waters of legendary Loch Ness. An optional boat trip is available for those who’d like to try their hand at ‘monster spotting’.
Leaving Loch Ness to its secrets you will pass under the shadow of Scotland's highest mountain and visit the grim valley of Glencoe, scene of one of the most heinous crimes in Scottish history. Your guide will bring to life the terrible massacre of the MacDonald Clan so vividly that you'll swear you can still hear the cries of betrayal echoing from the mountains.
Drive back to Glasgow via Loch Lomond and pass through the empty wilds of the Cairngorms National Park. By the time you get back your head will be swimming with stirring tales of William Wallace, Robert the Bruce and other great Scottish heroes.
See some of the most beautiful parts of the Scottish Highlands on the Loch Ness, Glen Coe & the Highlands excursion.
Board the world-famous 'Nessie Bus' and get ready for a day of adventure. As you head towards the Highlands you'll pass through the beautiful scenery of Perthshire.
The first stop in the Highlands will be at the beautiful village of Pitlochry. Here, your guide will show you where to buy some of the best home-made cakes in Scotland.
Then enjoy the stunning scenery as you travel through the spectacular and unique wilderness of the Cairngorms National Park.
You will stop at Loch Ness, justly famous all over the world for its beauty and mystery. Here you can have a leisurely bite to eat at a family-run restaurant overlooking the waters (payable direct) or grab a picnic and take a 'monster spotting' trip out on the waters of the loch (also payable direct). Be warned – the boatman has some hair-raising stories to tell!
Leaving Loch Ness behind you will head for the forbidding mountains of Glen Coe. As you stand at the mouth of the glen, you'll feel the past come to life as the guide tells you about the terrible massacre of the MacDonald Clan.
