Board a revamped World War II DUKw amphibious vehicle for a thrilling land and sea trip around the main attractions.
Travel on land to see the grand colonial-era buildings and learn about the history of this dynamic island state.
Then hold your breath as your amazing DUKw plunges into Marina Bay. See the famous Merlion statue, emblem of Singapore.
And look out for the innovative Esplanade theater. You can’t miss its unusual shape! Some people say it looks like the eyes of a fly.
For your aerial view of the city, board the Singapore Flyer, largest wheel in the world. The panoramas from the top will take your breath away.
Your Singapore Sightseeing by Air, Land & Sea tour includes the use in 24 hours of the following two activities: Singapore Captain Explorer DUKw tour and Singapore Flyer Ride.
If you are staying in one of Singapore's major hotels, you will be picked up and taken to the assembly point.
If you are not staying in one of the major hotels, then you should arrange to arrive at the assembly point at the Tourist and Transit Hub #01-05 at the Singapore Flyer 15 minutes before the tour starts.
Singapore Captain Explorer DUKw:
The fun starts when you board the FunVee DUKW (pronounced ‘duck’) authentic revamped WWII amphibious vehicle. You will be escorted by an English-speaking Fun Vee ‘Funbassador” to tell you all about the places you will see on your exciting tour.
You will drive to the historic Colonial District, the center of British colonial rule and still the seat of Singapore’s government. It was here that modern Singapore’s founder, Sir Thomas Raffles, landed in 1819.
You can admire the splendid former Parliament House, now an arts centre. Built in 1827, this is one of the oldest colonial-era buildings in Singapore.
You will also see the new Parliament House, nearby. The prism-shaped top is a modernist version of a traditional dome. The Singapore Parliament moved here in 1999 after the old building became too small for its needs.
Another interesting pair of buildings is the old Supreme Court building and its modern counterpart. Completed in 1939, the old Supreme Court has Corinthian columns and a large dome. In June 2005, the Supreme Court relocated to the new building.
Your Funbassador will also point out the handsome City Hall. This building has witnessed many important events, including the surrender of the Japanese at the end of World War II.
After the colonial district highlights, the tour will take a new turn as your versatile amphibious vehicle splashes into the waters of Marina Bay.
Marina Bay is an artificial bay formed by land reclamation. You will see the famous statue of the Merlion – a lion head with a fish body resting on a crest of waves – that is Singapore’s emblem.
From Marina Bay you will get splendid views of Singapore’s striking theater and concert venues, at the Esplanade. Aluminum sunshades covering the two curved roofs give the building an interesting spiky appearance. Opened in 2002, the Esplanade contains world-class performing spaces.
At the end of your exciting DUKw tour, you will be dropped off at the Tourist & Transit Hub close to the Singapore Flyer.
Singapore Flyer Ride:
Take a breathtaking ride on the Singapore Flyer, the world's largest wheel. The Flyer has a total height of 165m and exceeds The Star of Nanchang by 5m and the London Eye by 30m.
Each of its 28 air-conditioned capsules is capable of holding 28 passengers, and a complete rotation of the wheel takes approximately 30 minutes.
The views of Marina Bay and Singapore City from the Flyer are awesome.
The tour ends at the Singapore Flyer.

The DUKW Tour was an affordable tour. It was a great way to see Singapore... The kids just loved it !...
Singapore flyer was excellent, we chose a good clear day. Maybe a commentary explaining the different aspects of the city may be useful. Dukw Tour was exciting, however...
