Activity Overview

Discover the splendour of one of Britain's most important landmarks, St Paul's Cathedral. The current cathedral is the fourth to be built on this site at the top of Ludgate Hill, London's highest point.

Christopher Wren designed St Paul's Cathedral between 1675 and 1711. It is one of Europe's largest cathedrals, with a dome that is only surpassed in size by St. Peter's Basilica in Rome.

Climb 560 steps to the Whispering Gallery, which is known for its acoustics. Climb more steps to the top, to the narrow Golden Gallery, and look around.
