Ubud is an epitome of serenity. Thousands throng this quiet little village every year in a bid to break away from the hustle bustle of life and get closer to the elements of Nature. And this tour will do just that, taking you through the laps of Mother Nature, offering you unforgettable experiences and magnificent vistas for your eyes to feast on. It will take you on an incredible journey through the stunning expanse of the Tegalalang Rice Terrace right up to the breath taking view of Batur Volcano, and so much more in between!
Our first stop for the day is the charming Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, home to more than 700 long tailed macaques thriving in their natural habitat along with three exquisitely carved stone Hindu temples - Pura Dalem Agung, Pura Beji and Pura Prajapati. From the sublime ambiance of this serene sanctuary, we move on to the infectious energy of a local Ubud market where you can not only get a taste of their daily lifestyle but also have a look at the magnificent Ubud Palace. The regal historicity of the palace easily invokes a sense of awe while the gracious hospitality of the native Balinese people will be nothing short of a treat.
Having sampled their indigenous culture, we will set out to encounter the real attraction of Ubud - it’s bewitching natural beauty. The Tegalalang Rice Terrace will be your tryst with the renowned paddy farms synonymous with Bali and also make you realise why people keep returning to this haven of lush panoramas. The transcendental Mount Batur only enhances this ethereal visual pleasure, sitting like gorgeous crown of divinity amidst two equally spectacular caldera lakes. To make it even better, we have organised a delectable buffet lunch at a traditional restaurant pampering your palate while the resplendent view of the volcano and lake will add to a wholesome dining experience.
The enriching sojourn continues, satiating your inner travel bug, as we visit a coffee plantation producing the most expensive coffee in the world, Luwak. Soak in the rich aroma of caffeine amidst a refreshingly verdant environment, as you savour one of the most sought after adventures in the world. Our final pit stop for the day is the famous Tirta Empul Temple in Tampaksiring, home to one of the most popular freshwater springs in Bali. Believed to have magical healing properties, the temple is mostly abounding with visitors who come from far and wide to undergo a spiritual cleansing. It’s an ameliorating conclusion to a remarkable day, don’t you agree?
