Gear up for one enchanting day as this tour takes you through some of the spiritual highlights of Bali. Covering the amazing Taman Ayun, Alas Kedaton and Tanah Lot Temples, the journey traverses across one of the most scenic trails in the country and concludes perfectly with one of the magical sunsets Bali is famous for.
One of the prettiest temples in Bali, Taman Ayun, will be the first on our itinerary. Standing tall like a sanctuary of peace amidst beautifully manicured gardens, the family temple of the Mengwi dynasty, with its mossy lotus ponds and exquisite architecture makes for one grand sight with its incredible heritage. From the shapely gardens of Taman Ayun, we will move on to the enticing forests of Alas Kedaton. The forest, with its resident temple - Pura Dalem Kahyangan Kedaton, is home to hundreds of grey, long-tailed macaques and even some flying foxes. The engrossing frenzy of alas Kedaton, heightened by hordes of monkeys jumping around, is an astonishing balance to the calm of the temple inside and the sacred integrity of the area - making for quite a unique experience.
Our final halt for the day is the impeccably stunning Tanah Lot temple, one of the most popular as well as recognised attractions of Bali. Sitting at the edge of a rock, slightly off shore in the Indian Ocean, both the views of the temple from the shore and the one from temple will leave you quite speechless. But the highlight of this location definitely has to be amazing sunsets you can watch from here. Most people flock to Tanah Lot for the ravishing sunsets - especially when the sky starts breaking into a multitude of vibrant colours and reflects in the blue ocean below - that Bali is synonymous with. Savouring a sunset from Tanah Lot is not an exemplary conclusion to the tour, but also, one of the best ways to hang your boots on a long day!
