Discovery Tour ticket: Take this tour with expert guides who will take you around the park and show you the different animal habitats and the dedicated professionals who maintain it. The guides will also share interesting anecdotes and stories about the animals.

Lunch ticket: Combine your Loro admission ticket with a lunch pass at the Patio Restaurant. Your set menu lunch will consist of a three-course meal and drinks.

Premium Tour Ticket: This special Loro Park ticket combines a Discovery Tour ticket and a lunch ticket.

The adventure starts when you are picked up in mini train from Hotel Catalonia Las Vegas in Puerto de la Cruz, and driven to Loro Park in Puerto de la Cruz, on Tenerife’s northern coast. Originally conceived as a parrot sanctuary, the Park opened in 1972 with 150 birds. Since then, it has grown exponentially and now holds the world’s largest collection of parrots with over 3000 birds representing more than 300 species.

These days there is much more to Loro Park than parrots. Among other great attractions, it has a shark tunnel, a ‘planet’ of penguins and a range of ‘must see’ animal shows.

Highlights of Loro Park include:

Loro Show: Watch with delight as beautiful parrots fly over your head. See them perform all kinds of tricks such as riding roller skates and bicycles or even doing mathematical calculations!

Dolphin Shows: These take place in the world’s largest dolphin show pool and wow audiences throughout the day.

Planet Penguin: See chinstrap, gentoo, king and rockhopper penguins in a specially designed Antarctic environment and watch them swim underwater. This is the world’s largest Penguinarium and a premier attraction of the Park.

Orca Ocean: Watch the super-smart black and white killer whales perform in a breath-taking show.

Sea Lion Show: These cheeky extroverts make everybody smile!

Shark Tunnel: This is the longest shark tunnel in Europe. When you walk through it, you feel as though you are treading on the ocean floor.

There are also other exciting animals to visit, such as tigers, gorillas and chimps. A number of the animals at the Park have found refuge there after being badly treated by former owners.

The Park is well equipped with restaurants and cafeterias for snacks, drinks and ice-creams. There are also plenty of souvenir shops to browse through.
