    I think a hop on hop off bus is a good way to get oriented to this magnificent city. It was deadly hot when we visited. This bus had a cover on the top which protected us form the scorching sun.

    Whilst the hop on hop off city sightseeing bus delivered the service it was not as frequent as advertised. We were told every 15 mins but we waited 1/2 hour after our colosseum visit. Other hop on hop off companies were far more frequent and all were on the same route.
