Your walking tour begins in Prague’s old Jewish quarter, whose history extends back to the 13th century, when the members of the city’s Jewish community were ordered to leave their homes and settle in one area.
The buildings standing in the Jewish quarter represent the best preserved complex of Jewish historical monuments in Europe.
Your two-hour walking tour includes a stroll through the Old Jewish Cemetery, the oldest existing Jewish cemetery in Europe, with tombstones dating back to 1439.
You will also visit several synagogues during your tour, and traverse the narrow Maiselova Street, which was one of the main avenues of the old Jewish quarter.
Your tour concludes in Prague’s Old Town Square.
