It’s not everyday that you go to the zoo in a boat. In Prague, you can do it. The zoo there is located on the banks of the Vltava River and you may cruise along the river, take in the city sights before heading to see the animals.
An adventure that children will specially love, take a seat on the boat and soak in the incredible history and culture of Prague as you sail past its riverside attractions like the Dancing House, Žofín, Prague Castle, the National Theatre and Charles Bridge. The onboard guide will fill you in with stories and facts about Prague. There will be so many picturesque sights to take that bringing your camera is a must. Capture all that comes your way and ask the guide to take your picture against the wonderful backdrop.
Your boat will drop you at the entrance of the Prague Zoo and the guide will hand over your entrance tickets. Come across wild and rare animals in their natural habitats. The zoo has over 4,000 animals including a large number of endangered species. Zoo’s most popular gorillas reside with elephants, salamanders, hippos, Malayan tigers, pandas and more.
The tour is available in English, German, Spanish and Russian.

‘No chance to get bored’ – that’s what Fun in Prague believe in. During your Prague tour, if you are looking to do the regular stuff but not in the ordinary way, look no further. The people here offer a range of sightseeing tours and cruises, but with a quirky twist. A boat ride to the zoo, a dinner at a medieval tavern, chugging beers during a walk, face off with friends during a game of paintball in an island – that’s the kind of things we are talking about.
