Please report at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start time. This is mandatory to allow time for pre-departure briefing.
Large umbrellas will not be allowed at the Uffizi Gallery. Clients will have to store the umbrellas in the museum locker before entering the Gallery. The storage service, at the entrance of the Gallery, is open until 6:40pm. Small umbrellas will still be allowed at the Uffizi. For this reason we strongly suggest to bring with you small umbrellas only.
Even with the skip-the-line entrance, there is still a compulsory security check which may cause some delays in entering the museum.
Big bags and bottles of liquid are not allowed inside the museum.
We chose this tour for the chance to walk the Vasari corridor, otherwise closed to the public. I must say, the corridor has been the best part, but I felt the uffizi g as llery has been rushed and we didn't get to see some of the most important masterpieces (ie: the Venus by Botticelli ), so I felt as bit disappointed for the price paid.
Our guide, mario was very well versed on his subjects and took as through a short education of the history of art from realisim to baroque - cam way feeling id really benifitted...
Very informative, funny guide.
