It was the great master himself who came up with the idea of establishing a foundation to engage younger talent with contemporary art. During your time at the foundation, visit the Espai 13 that displays works by young experimental artists with Miro’s masterpieces. Fundació Joan Miró houses more than 8.000 drawings, 217 paintings, 178 sculptures as well as ceramics, textiles and graphic works.
