Overview

Soak in the enticing spirituality of Bali as well as its magical views on this fantastic tour. From the nostalgia of archaic architecture to the verdant expanses of rice fields, this is one tour that will complete your Bali vacation like no other!

The Taman Ayun Temple, our first stop for the day, is one of the prettiest temples in Bali with its name literally translating to ‘beautiful garden’. Set amidst a sprawling compound of picturesque gardens and lotus ponds, the temple is built with striking Chinese architectural influences and surrounds you with an inimitable peaceful ambiance. Next up is the stunning Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, floating like an enigmatic sanctuary on the serene Beratan Lake. One of the oldest temple complexes in Bali, the encompassing area is believed to have been a hub of religious ceremonies as old as the megalithic period. Ulun Danu is a recognisable motif synonymous with Bali, as can be seen on their 50,000 rupiah notes.

Taking a short break from our spiritual trail, we will head to the spectacular Jatiluwih Rice Terraces - the largest stretch of rice fields in Bali. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, thanks to the famous Subak system representing Bali’s Cultural Landscape, Jatiluwih presents a limitless panorama of breath taking rice fields cut into the slopes of the entire Mount Batukaru, starting at the top and flowing all the way down to valleys. If you are someone who loves feasting their eyes on expanses of greenery, you cannot miss out on the unforgettable scenery offered by Jatiluwih - looking like a never-ending ocean of green steps leading to infinity.

The Tanah Lot Temple complex, our final stop, is one of one most recognisable sights in Bali. Located about 20km offshore, Tanah Lot is one of the most popular tourist spots in Bali not just for the splendid temple it is home to but more famously for the ravishing sunsets you can witness from here. The temple is best visited during low tides when you can explore the complex and soak in the soothing spiritual ambiance. However, the sunsets can be seen anytime and offers a magical panorama as the sky breaks into an unfathomable range of colours over the fervent sea. No wonder, Tanah Lot sits high on every traveller’s bucket list for its spectacular sunsets!
