Palma Aquarium is the only tourist attraction in the Balearic Islands that is open all year round; 365 days a year. During the summer months, the heat can sometimes be unbearable, and for this reason, we have thought up loads of fun and refreshing activities for you to enjoy and cool down at the same time. You’ll really feel like you’re swimming in the sea and have a ball in the fountain jets in the playground or just cool down and enjoy the Jungle or the air-conditioned aquariums indoors. So when you start to feel the heat ... we’ll be waiting for you!

3D 360º AquaDome

Choose the admission and the 3D 360º AquaDome experience and meet the gaze of the giants of the ocean. Big as a school bus, and weighing 40 tons, the humpback whales glide agilely in the blue sea. Let yourself be surrounded by their enchanting songs, as they communicate with each other.

Despite their colossal dimensions from head to tail, they are gentle and affectionate mammals, swimming gracefully for long distances. Encounter these magnificent creatures through a unique adventure – the only 3D immersive experience in Europe that takes you to the depths of the ocean.

Diving with sharks for 1 person

A pure adrenaline dive among sand tiger sharks and sandbar sharks!

Dive in Big Blue, one of the deepest shark tanks in Europe. Together with an instructor from Palma Aquarium, you will dive among 10 large sharks, rays and hundreds of fish.

When you arrive, our instructor will give you an explanation about the Big Blue, our main tank of the aquarium, where you will dive.?He will also inform you about the safety measures so that you can dive with complete peace of mind and enjoy this unique experience. If you have a diving licence you will be able to dive to a depth of 8.5m, while if you don't have a licence you will dive to a depth of 4m, which is no mean feat!

Booking this activity also gives you free access for you and a companion to Palma Aquarium. So when you've finished diving, you can visit the aquarium at your own pace.

Important information

* It is compulsory to have your own diving accident insurance to do the activity. If you don't have it, you can buy it at the Aquarium.

* It is compulsory to present a Diving Medical Certificate issued within the last 12 months.

* The dive cannot be carried out 12 hours before or after flying.

* Licensed divers will enjoy a dive to a depth of 8.5 metres, not licensed divers to 4 metres max.

* Duration of activity: between 1.5 and 2 hours approx.

* Availability subject to weather and biological conditions.

* Instructors' languages: Spanish, English, German.
