What's the plan:  

Your San Francisco city tour starts from Zephyr Hotel. Learn about Fisherman’s Wharf, Pier 39, and the Marina District. Stop and explore the picturesque Palace of Fine Arts and cross the iconic Golden Gate Bridge while enjoying enriching commentary about its riveting history. Keep your camera handy as there will be a photo stop where you can take some truly Instagram-worthy pictures of the bridge.

Arrive at Land's End and take in breathtaking views of Ocean Beach, Sutro Baths, and the Cliff House. You will be exploring the highlights of Golden Gate Park, including the California Academy of Sciences, Japanese Tea Garden and de Young Museum. Discover the colorful Haight-Ashbury District and the important neighborhoods of the Mission District and Castro District.

Enjoy an action-packed drive through Chinatown, Nob Hill, and the Financial District and see North Beach, location of Coit Tower and crooked Lombard Street. The tour ends at Fisherman's Wharf where you can enjoy lunch (not included) before resuming the next part of the tour- Alcatraz Island.

At 1pm, pick-up your tickets for Alcatraz at Pier 33 and board the ferry for the Alcatraz tour. There will be an audio presentation "Doing Time: The Alcatraz Cellhouse Tour" featuring recordings of actual guards and inmates. After the presentation, explore Alcatraz on your own before returning to Pier 33 by ferry at 5pm.
