Rising more than 700 feet above raging waters, it is one of the greatest engineering works in history.
Marvel at the mind-boggling feat of construction that created these towering concrete walls.
Visit strategic viewpoints overlooking the dam, and see the blue waters of lovely Lake Mead. It is the largest man-made lake and reservoir in the US and a life-line to the settlements of the southwest.
Before returning to Las Vegas we stop at a local park where, herds of Big Horn Sheep often come down from the surrounding mountains to gather and graze on the sweet green grass.
Please note that Hoover Dam is currently unable to guarantee access to the interior and so you will be enjoying a wonderful extended exterior tour of the Dam and Bridge views.

Should for any reason the tour not go ahead on the date you have booked for you will be offered the chance to move to another date or receive a full refund.
Passengers may be refused to participate in the tour without refund when under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or displays an inability to care for himself/herself or displays conduct which may disrupt the pleasure and/or safety of passengers or employees.
Passengers must wear a seat belt and follow the rules and regulations of the activity operator.
Wear sun-screen, casual clothes and comfortable shoes for walking. It's a good idea to bring a hat, and don’t forget the camera to capture the views.
Please wear hiking or athletic walking shoes.
Temperatures are cooler from October – February so long pants and a light jacket are appropriate.
March – September temperatures are warm where shorts, hat and light shirt are comfortable.
