Discover the charms of the island of Île de la Cité, admire the gothic splendor of Notre Dame from the courtyard, and explore the narrow streets and hidden nooks of the Latin Quarter. Enjoy a guided tour of the prison that once held Marie Antoinette and Paris' most beautiful church, Sainte Chapelle, (from April 1st). Enjoy scenic views on an idyllic Seine River Cruise.
Enjoy a stroll along the banks of the Seine and later visit Île Saint-Louis, where you'll get a stunning view of your next stop.
As you approach the iconic Notre Dame, your guide will narrate how the mighty cathedral (the distance from which all points in France are measured) was first built and Paris looked very different than it does today.
After crossing the river into the historic Latin Quarter, explore the quaint, cobblestone streets and then stroll to the Conciergerie, the oldest remaining part of the Palais de la Cité. This former royal residence of the kings of France became a prison during the French Revolution. (This tour includes a guided tour of the Conciergerie and Sainte Chapelle from April 1, 2023. Tours before this date will visit the magnificent Sainte-Chapelle for a self-guided visit.)
Next, admire the city’s most beautiful chapel—Sainte Chapelle, built initially to house relics and today one of the most jaw-dropping rooms in Paris. Luckily, you’ll have skip-the-line tickets and a guided tour* to appreciate this remarkable monument fully.
Enjoy a 1-hour live guided river cruise along the Seine where you can experience and view Paris and its many magnificent buildings from a new vantage point.
